With motherhood, many women’s bodies change and for other moms, the cute curvaceous or slim body with glowing skin also disappears. Don’t feel depressed or bad about this because it’s part of life.
But also, don’t choose to stay like that. You can start with a simple workout plan in order to get fit If you’re able to enroll in a gym or get a personal trainer, good for you.
However, many moms complain that they have no time to hit the gym with the kids around.

Hey mom, you’re a goddess in your kingdom! So, look like one, please.
Unfortunately, as soon as many ladies transition into marriage and motherhood, they tend to forget about looking good, not just for their partners but also for themselves.
They start wearing the-white-tee-and-jeans every day, and the long ugly dress becomes their go-to loungewear. Some moms even forget to wear the cute night dresses they had before. Over time, they start feeling shaggy and it becomes a way of life.

It’s not enough to have a good wardrobe: for you to look elegant as a mom, you also need to build a skincare routine.
Your routine will depend on your skin type and concern, the ingredients in your products addressing your concerns, and the time of day.
Let’s agree on one thing. Most moms will need to including anti-aging products in their makeup routine in order to bring back their skin’s elasticity.
You don’t need a 10-step skincare routine for a start because a dermatologist or cosmetologist can help you build a simple 3-to-4-step skincare routine.

In order to look elegant, you also need to invest yourself- not only physically but also intellectually. This will ensure you become a standout success.
The deeper your investment, the more fit you become for sustaining your entrepreneurial journey. You can only grow your career to the extent that you grow yourself.
The good news is, time invested in your own personal growth is completely under your control. You will either do it and stand out or not.
Skip binge-watching the soap operas and start reading each day. Why? Reading gives you a break, puts you into another world, and creates an emotional connection between yourself and the words on the paper.
If you need to escape and enjoy a vacation and you can’t physically, reading a book or even, a magazine is a great substitute. If you’re a Christian like me, you should also include reading the Bible daily.
Further, reading increases your vocabulary provides your brain with examples of correct grammar, and helps you become not only a better reader and writer but more importantly a more other-centered communicator.
9. Enjoy Family Time & Spare Time For Dates
Most moms are caught up in a hectic whirlwind of activities that start on Monday morning, end on Sunday night, and then begin all over again.
Time slips by as we rush to complete urgent tasks that relate to juggling jobs, running the household, chauffeuring our children, our parents, relatives, and spouses to work, school, appointments, and commitments.
Yet, we all acknowledge, that spending quality time together is the best way we have to show each other that we care and that our families are important.
To get started:
- Cook your family recipe together.
- Eat together at least once a week while catching up.
- Deliberately decide to leave work or schedule work for later so that you can make it home in time to sit down to dinner together.
- Include the kids in doing house chores so you can fix things together as you catch up.
- Read books or magazines together.
- Watch TV or shows together as a family.
- Plan a monthly excursion with your family.
- Chat with your kids, especially the teens.
- Give grandparents a call, and ask the kids too. You can even visit them over the weekends.
- Celebrate family traditions.
- Go on dates with your husband or girlfriends too.
- Enjoy a spa weekend with your girlfriends. You can even try a spa day at home on a lovely weekend.
- Spend time with your partner each evening after dinner and the kids have gone to bed.
Above all, just remember to be in the moment as you dedicate time for all these activities to ensure you make the most of every time.
Don’t think about work when you’re having dinner or the kids when you’re having a weekend away with your girlfriends. You need to take a break, dear mom!
