The coffee body scrub is one of the best scrubs in the wellness world. It has one of the best smells and let’s look into the ingredients of this DIY coffee scrub. I’m certain you’ll be inspired to try out this body scrub as soon as possible!

Why Use These Ingredients?

Coffee:

  • When caffeine such as that in coffee grounds is applied topically, it may help break down this fat and increase blood flow to the area, thus decreasing the appearance of cellulite.
  • Applying coffee directly to your skin may help decrease the appearance of sunspots, redness, and fine lines.
  • The CGAs in coffee is linked to reducing hyperpigmentation thus help reduce inflammation.
  • The CGAs in coffee has both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Thus, as a natural exfoliant, coffee helps fight acne, including body acne.

Coconut Oil:

  • Coconut oil keeps the skin moisturized thus particularly good for dry skin.
  • It helps in reducing inflammation and helping heal wounds.

Skincare Tip…

Simply use coconut oil as your go-to moisturizer if you’re looking for an affordable option that not only smells amazing but also leaves your skin feeling nourished and smooth.

Sugar:

  • Makes an excellent exfoliant thanks to its glycolic and alpha-hydroxy acid contents that help to maintain your skin’s equilibrium – it won’t become too dry or too oily leaving your skin with a naturally radiant glow!
  • Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that stimulates cell regeneration and encourages new skin cells and thus younger-looking skin.
  • Sugar is a natural humectant, thus, draws moisture from the environment and locks it into the skin. By applying products with sugar or sugar derivatives, your skin stays moisturized and smooth.
